How do you feel about taking a little break before the Holidays take hold of your schedule? Would you like to enjoy a yoga retreat this fall, but are unable to commit to a longer get-away?
Then treat yourself to a weekend yoga retreat at Joyful Journey with Mountain Harmony Yoga.
Flow Into Gratitude for Strength & Healing will support you on a beautiful weekend journey of self-exploration of using Gratitude as a tool for healing and embodying strength.
This retreat is being held in the Northern Mystic San Luis Valley, at Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa. There will be shared lodging (which can be upgraded to private for an additional fee), two simple breakfasts and dinners provided by the staff of Joyful Journey and one lunch on Saturday provided by Yoga Teacher in Training, Julie Mordecai.
Join us at the peaceful spa for a relaxing retreat. Enlighten your senses with the rejuvenating waters, schedule a relaxing massage therapy treatment and take in the magnificent views of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range.
A short drive in the beautiful San Luis Valley, we will have space and resources to explore a deeper concept of gratitude and how to use this technique to embody our innate strength while exploring deeper levels of healing through this practice.
Friday: Check-in is at 4 on Friday. You will join us before dinner, to connect and set the scene for the upcoming retreat journey. After an amazing dinner, we will come together again for our first Dharma Talk before relaxing with a Restorative Yoga class.
Saturday: You will begin with a morning Yoga class designed to support your journey in exploring and expressing your feelings of gratitude during this retreat. After breakfast and some well deserved free time, we will meet again for a walking meditation at the labyrinth. After Julie’s nourishing lunch offering, we will enjoy a good chunk of free time to soak in the hot springs, get a spa treatment, nap, rest…or wherever your heart calls. We will meet again for a yoga class created to prepare for the evening’s activities. After dinner, we’ll work together again before releasing into a Yoga Nidra designed to support you and prepare you for blissfull sleep.
Sunday: You will wake to enjoy the mountain views and your last Yoga class of the weekend. After breakfast, our morning closing ceremony will solidify all of your explorations. You will leave refreshed and excited for entering the winter season, knowing you have fully explored the healing energy of gratitude.

About your Facilitator:
Becca has been practicing yoga since 1996 when she took a college credit yoga class and was hooked. She knew she wanted to teach Yoga, but also knew she wanted to teach from a place of knowledge and understanding. She spent the next 10 years practicing and absorbing all I could of this ancient practice. She studied Hatha, Ashtanga, Bikram, Jivamukti, and Kyira before arriving at the Classical Yoga system at Yoga Life Institute in Malvern, PA in 2006. For one year, she was immersed in the 8 fold Yoga Path as set out by the Yoga Sutures of Patanjali as she completed her 200-hour teacher training studies and Bachelors in Exercise Science. She recently completed a 300-Hr YTT at Cambio Yoga in Colorado Springs. She teaches in-studio and on-line to share her love and passion of Yoga. Becca created Mountain Harmony to provide our community with a space of passion, wisdom, and honesty to support a deep exploration of the Self in Body, Mind, and Spirit.
Becca is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and specializes in Orthopaedic, Pediatric, Vestibular, and Lymphedema Therapy. She is currently studying to be an Ayurvedic Practitioner
