How is the back-to-school year treating you? Now that we’re a few weeks into the school year have you or your kids started to lose the focus that you enjoyed when we began this semester. Then this 30-minute Yoga Class to Increase Focus is just what ya need.
Yoga For Increasing Focus
Yoga invariably supports our journey through so much more than the physical benefits. Focus in an extra added benefit that isn’t much thought about.
Through our Drishti (visual gaze) we clear through the clutter of our senses and sharpen our mind to a one-pointed focus. When we use Ujjayi breath, we are able to create more space within our bodies and minds, allow the brain to be able to focus more clearly in the present moment. When we pin-point our acceptance with what is on our mats, we lose the pull of the past or future on our attention and settle into a clarity that is rarely gifted in other activities.

I filmed this class while on summer vacation with my family in South Lake Tahoe. We camped just a short bike-ride away from this beautiful beach, where we spent most of our days.
I woke up before the kids, jumped on my bike and headed out the catch the sunrise over Lake Tahoe. It was uh-mazing to have a few moments alone at the beach, especially seeing the stillness of the lake in the morning…because it was pretty choppy in the afternoons while we were paddleboarding.
As much as I loved bonding with my children on this trip, it was so good for me to take a little alone time away to recharge and have a bit of quiet before starting our day of adventuring. Why yes I do wish that every day started out with some peaceful yoga on the beach.
So here it is! Enjoy this 30-minute Yoga Class to Increase Focus and let me know what you think!
