The Fall Retreat is being held this year in Breckenridge Colorado, surrounded by 14,000 ft mountains, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

 

This breath-taking drive to Breckenridge is just the start of this transformation retreat. Our beautiful retreat house is located in the pine forest just outside of a bustling mountain town. The perfect setting as we spend time in retreat and exploration of our unique gifts. 

 

Fall Yoga Retreat

 

Tucked into the forest of the Rocky Mountains we will have space and resources to explore our deepest desires for our life’s journey and to touch into each of our unique gifts, expressing as creativity. A hot tub at the house is the perfect opportunity to rest your body and mind to allow for deep relaxation. 

 

Rooms will be shared on this retreat, however, there will be plenty of space for quiet time and exploration of the surrounding area.

Fall Yoga RetreatSierra McKechnie will be our personal chef for the weekend, providing you with nourishing vegetarian meals to support your creative journey.

 

Sierra is not only phenomenally creative as she loves people with food, but she is also a gifted yoga teacher who shares her love of yoga at Mountain Harmony. 

 

Sierra’s gifts are an integral part of the weekend as we gather together to eat, and grow in our community.

Retreat Itinerary

 

Thursday: Arrive after dinner to unpack and settle into this mountain home. We will begin our weekend journey with a reception with light refreshments. We’ll prepare for the upcoming weekend and get to know all of the participants who will be supporting you on this journey.

 

Friday and Saturday: You will begin each morning with a Yoga class designed to support your journey in exploring and expressing your true creativity to embrace your dharma. Sierra’s nourishing breakfast will give you the energy for all of the day’s activities. After some well deserved free time, we will meet again for a Dharma talk before lunch. After lunch, we will enjoy a good chunk of free time to either hike or bike the trails, nap rest…or wherever your heart calls. We will meet again for a yoga class created to prepare for the evening’s activities. After dinner, we’ll work together again as we explore and co-create your most creative and fulfilling expression of your Dharma. 

 

Sunday: You will wake to enjoy the mountain views and your last Yoga class of the weekend. Enjoy one more delicious breakfast from Sierra. Our morning closing ceremony will solidify all of your explorations and you will leave refreshed and excited for entering the winter season, knowing you have all the tools to express your unique talents while living your true Dharma.

Fall Yoga RetreatAbout your Facilitator:

Becca has been practicing yoga since 1996 when she took a college credit yoga class and was hooked. She knew she wanted to teach Yoga, but also knew she wanted to teach from a place of knowledge and understanding. She spent the next 10 years practicing and absorbing all I could of this ancient practice. She studied Hatha, Ashtanga, Bikram, Jivamukti, and Kyira before arriving at the Classical Yoga system at Yoga Life Institute in Malvern, PA in 2006. For one year, she was immersed in the 8 fold Yoga Path as set out by the Yoga Sutures of Patanjali as she completed her 200-hour teacher training studies and Bachelors in Exercise Science. She recently completed a 300-Hr YTT at Cambio Yoga in Colorado Springs. She teaches in-studio and on-line to share her love and passion of Yoga. Becca created Mountain Harmony to provide our community with a space of passion, wisdom, and honesty to support a deep exploration of the Self in Body, Mind, and Spirit.

Becca is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and specializes in Orthopaedic, Pediatric, Vestibular, and Lymphedema Therapy. She is currently studying to be an Ayurvedic Practitioner.
